Step 21 - Presenting Evidence

Throughout this series I've talked about your Presentation. This is where you are getting together with your boss and reviewing all the material that you've put together in order to get a pay raise. In this video I bring it all together through "evidence presentation".

In this video I will teach you...

* The exact time to give your boss your proposal BEFORE your presentation... yes, I said before - and I explain why I think this is important.

* An exact and specific list of things that you want to include in your presentation.

* A way to acknowledge OTHERS (if you work in a group) that still reflects highly on you.

* How to effectively add in extra duties and responsibilities tied to your pay raise request.

* A way to make your presentation and agenda a one-sheet document. This is straight-forward and concise so that your boss isn't ambushed and they have an understanding of what the meeting is about.

* How to have a friend or someone you trust "punch holes" in the presentation so that you can learn where your weak spots are.

* What to keep and what to throw away to have the most impactful salary request conversation with your boss.

This video is just one video of the Salary Step-Up Series.
